Williams and Bootle were brutal. Lamar actually made plays back there. Was very disappointed with the other two.

Fans here won’t give it time, they’ll run coaches out of town after a few games, rinse repeat.
Can we clone Marvin Sanders? A clone without the personal demons?

This seems to be the biggest problem. Know nothings that seem to think every issue can be fixed in a few months if only we have the right coach. Point and case is all the dweebs calling for Nebraska to hire a fifth D-coordinator in 6 years based on 6 games without realizing that lack of continuity and time to develop under a single scheme is killing us defensively more than anything
Totally disagree. Our DL gave QB too much time. No DB’s look good when DL can quite get to QB because of lack of speed. Our DB’s would look entirely different if Suh or Wistrom we’re on on DL. Receivers are going to get open eventually especially when we have extra rusher to compensate for slow DL that can’t get off blocks.
100% agree. Fans patience will make or break this deal. Calling for people’s heads of s just silly at this point..
That's what I mean last week it was the linebackers especially young this week it was the dbs they just can't seem to put it all together. Bootle has played better we've seen him do a good job he knows he needs to turn around but he didn't they didn't have to worry about a running game just cover the receivers as for the safeties what you see is what you get I don't think they have anyone else
No it won’t. Frost recruiting like a mad man and winnings games is what will make or break this deal.
So you think high staff turnover won’t hurt us? We have had as much or more talent than any team we’ve played other than Michigan and Wisconsin...yet we are 0-6. Consistency in coaching and time to develop in one system matter. A lot.
My 2 cents, I'm only a two years older than Coach Frost. He has the same "Husker disease," that I have and he will do everything in his power to right the ship. That's why I'm not worried about the staff. I'm more worried about the fans but realize its a vocal minority of jackasses.
Edit: We're unbelievably lucky that Frost didn't have to waste time hiring a staff and probably waste a season for them learning how to and if they could work together.
This is literally the last great chance to turn this place around. I don’t give a rats *** what happens. I won’t even question Frost for 5 years. That’s how bad it was around here. I believe...

Do you honestly believe Frost would get rid of Chinander because a few fans may be loud? If Frost fails it’s not going to be the fanbases fault.
Hopefully not, but saying that a fan base can’t influence a program isn’t true either.

Chinander was bad at UCF and he's bad here. He is the weak link on this team.
