You say that as if he's a four or five star. It always hurts a little to lose an in-state prospect, but it won't matter in terms of the talent level on our team. He's a typical recruit for Iowa though, so congratulations if you get him.
Nah. I’m just throwing some shade at your worst poster. The one who has Nebraska as a lean on EVERY recruit. Twice in this thread actually. A poster who Tweets at recruits that are down to Iowa and ISU, trying to persuade them to go to ISU because Matt Campbell is building something in Ames.
We keep reading about how Nebraska is coming into Iowa and stealing our recruits so it’s nice to get a good one from Lincoln.
As far as Johnson goes, Iowa needs speed and athleticism like that to get better at the WR position so I’m happy about it.[/QUOTE]
worst poster? Why is that, because I refuse to let Iowa homers and trolls come over here and bang your chests about Iowa? I suppose, to Iowa fans, I’m probably the worst because I’ll always be here to troll back...don’t like it? There is always the Iowa board.
Now, on me saying every recruit is a Husker lean is beyond FALSE. When I do that, I’m going off of the crystal balls from 24/7 or Rivals predictions they do. I have no way of truly knowing which way a prospect is leaning. Not even a little bit. But I can, indeed, look how the so called “experts” are predicting it and that’s what I go off of.
I’m all for talking football and all that. Hell yes, sign me up. But if you come onto our Husker board hammering on my team and dogging on us about this and that...naturally I’m going to hammer back. But if You come in being decent and just talking football and giving credit, you’d see a completely different me. Yes, I’m pro Frost, I for see us getting better and better ever year. Just like Kirk did when he took over Iowa. I’m not a doom and gloom guy that assumes the sky is falling. I try and keep it positive and see the good things my team is doing.
edited: for the record it appears Iowa has another crystal ball for Keagen Johnson. I’m pretty sure Iowa will get a commitment from him tomorrow. Congrats and I hope nothing but the best for him at Iowa. Of course, except when he plays my Huskers...GBR for life!!!
