I cannot remember a game with so many calls on both teams. I pretty much expect Young to be the guy doing it as he tends to run faster than the rest of his body.
Add in the turnovers for both and this was one ugly game after the initial surge putting us up by 20.

There were a ton last night. Can’t say I saw a call that looked wrong necessarily although some were a little ticky tack. Normally I get frustrated that it virtually never gets called and it can hurt us because our d forces turnovers off of traveling.

The fouls made the game unwatchable. Both teams essentially in the double bonus with 10 to play. First half was fine. Second was bizarro world

I think the refs were calling stuff they usually let go last night. Both fouls and travelling. RU wasn't fouling much at the start. They were way more focused and moving their feet. Then NW started playing hard and fouling. That took us out of our game, we lost our focus, stopped moving our feet, and started fouling a lot too. At that point, the refs really started calling everything.

It was a very strange game from an officiating standpoint. Maybe the refs felt like the game would get out of hand with all the first half fouling by both teams.

Was hard to watch with all the traveling then they even threw in a carrying call on top of it which you can call a lot but rarely see it whistled.

It only seems unusual because they typically ignore or don't look for them.
