Lots of discussion in the B1G with the West Coast teams coming East...and the traditional teams traveling to the West coast.

Here's one for you. Cincinnati kicks off @ Utah tonight 9:15 local time. That's 11:15 Cincy time. Cincinnati will be playing until 2:30AM their time.

I think more and more teams are traveling two days before the game to instead of just one.

I don't think it matters as much with the players as it does with the fans. Bearcat fans in Cincinnati having to wait until 11:15 PM to watch their team play in a conference game is absolute and total bullsh*t. Maybe they were ok with it because of the chance to play on ESPN, but does it really matter for a game that late? And I suppose it's better than still being in C-USA or the AAC. This might be the new reality with coast-to-coast conferences, but it seems like they could do a better job of scheduling....

I think the impact of travel is underrated.

And because of travel, I think the Hawks have a better chance against Oregon than they do USC, even though Oregon is a much better team.

I’ll never forget 2010 when Iowa had to travel to Arizona and I think the game started at 9:30 pm Iowa time. Had our hearts ripped out after that amazing comeback.

Not sure how anybody starts a game at 9:15pm local time - that’s insane.
