Is he getting a scholarship? Would seem to be a waste to have 2 punters on scholarship - I doubt Lightbourn will leave willingly because he's not going to find another school to give him a scholarship.
He punted for MSU when they came to Lincoln, must have enjoyed the atmosphere.
Who knows, but we have Armstrong for one more year in 2019, so this guy can sit out a year and then take over in 2020.
This punter can't play the race card like Fields did.

We certainly will not lack for competition amongst walk-on punters in 2020. Aren't there 2-3 freshman walk-ons coming this year as well?
While I do appreciate your enthusiasm for our offense I fell like we need another punter. Lightbourn isn't gonna play anytime soon, Armstrong is with is for at least one more year, and I'm pretty sure Pickering will stick with being a kicker.
