He’s not trolling, he’s just an idiot. Much better.
I’m just here to provide perspective. Duke has an abundance of talent and resources. You guys should be winning Nattys. If my perspective helps you win one, I’ve done a good deed. Helping those most fortunate, with the most resources, etc. I feel like I’m helping the Dodgers get over the hump when Friedman was being stupid. Now we won back 2 back titles thx to Yoda: )). Next, is Duke winning another Natty. Unless it’s beating ucla. Then it’s no bueno.

It feels like the Flip year in terms of getting multiple guys back. Which was good in theory but guys like Mitchell regressed. I would still prefer to get guys back. Give me Pat, Sarr, Foster and Cayden and a few portal vets and we're good to go.

I got it guys , Duke is reaching out to every player that has eligibility remaining and seeing who could come back . Heard Carey Jr and Okafor are going through the process of being cleared , Hurt and keels are seeing what their NIL value is worth, Rodney Hood is thinking and So is Parker . Man , talk about dipping into the pros . Oh we’re still talking about the portal 😂

Here’s my offer to all of you, I’ll bet you a dinner for 2 anywhere in Socal if you can get here, and Duke wins a Natty before my Bruins do. And if I win, you buy me dinner and the best restaurant nearby Duke, if that’s where you live. That’s how confident I am that my Bruins will shock the world and bring home a Natty in my lifetime I hope. lol. Let’s go Duke fans.

I couldn’t give 2 ***** about your offer. Your troll game sucks and you’re a basketball moron.

No troll game at all. Like I said. I have no problems with Duke. I admire the Duke program and wish ours could recruit 1/2 the elite stars Dukes attracted. As far as all your anger goes, I will only say…

Please, dear baby Jesus, don't let Nik go to UConn and play for that crazy bastard.
Hurley is arguably the best coach in College bball, so it wouldn’t shock me, but he looks more like a return to Duke or go to Gonzaga kid to me. I guess they could try and turn him into Karaban 2.0? But he looks more like a Gonzaga kid, or maybe SC. I don’t see ucla adding a 5th big forward. I feel like the kid would want to either move closer to home and start, or, go back to Duke.

that 23-24 team received a lot of undeserved flak from this board. The issue with that team is that it lacked a Center.

as a result, Flip had to slide and play the 5 which forced Mitchell to play the 4. The year before Duke had Lively at the 5 so both Flip and Mitchell were able to play their Natural Positions. The 2023-2024 team still Earned an Elite 8 berth upsetting #1 Houston in the tournament before falling to #11 NC State.

Flip Earned All-American Honors the 23-24 season even after dealing with the toxic girlfriend and the criticism from Blue Devil fans.

Just imagine, if you will, Lively returning to be the center of that 23-24 team. We coulda been a contender. We could've been somebody.

I think so too Bleed

I believe Lively went #2 in the 2023 draft. He also played an integral part as a Rookie for the Dallas Mavericks in the 2024 NBA Finals.

Great news about Cayden. I assume that means no Foster but it was going to be one or the other all along. Still need to add some shooting but a sophomore Cayden is a great core piece to next year.

Looks like it will be one decision a day like they always do. Who do you think is next? I’m going to say either Foster staying or Cam entering draft. Duke will probably will hold Big Pat, Sarr and Evans for last.

Year 2 of Sarr would be fun. Seems like he could blow up next year.
I think the defense of Sarr and Brown won us games this past season. On multiple occasions we locked down an opponent's best scorer with those two. I do think Sarr comes back, and I agree if he can improve on the offensive end and attack the basket under control, he could be really special next year. I would love to see us pick up another Brown type player in the portal too, but I think that window is shrinking quickly.

Checking my crystal ball, I think Foster announces he is returning today. We will hear from Evans and Cam Monday and Tuesday. Just my hunch.

They might rotate good and bad. Why I think it could be Cam or Foster. I’m going to go with Foster today (returning), Cam Monday (draft), Sarr Tuesday (returning), Evans Wednesday (draft) and Big Pat Thursday (returning).

We've got a little situation in my opinion. I'm thankful Cayden is returning, and hope Sarr and Ngongba both decide to stay another year. I don't know what to expect with our freshmen class though. Can Meyer (7'1 but only 215 lbs) be a serviceable backup to Pat, will Howard be a solid shooter, and just how good is Williams and Rippey? Williams is 6'11, but very thin. How good is the kid Wilkens, that redshirted?

Is Jon still hot after Blackwell, and if so, what does that do to our backcourt? Seems to me we would be crowded. Do we also need another big?

Need Blackwell and a big. IMO, Duke can sell getting some of these guys off their damn feet - mainly Foster and Pat. If you want Pat healthy for the tourney, need to watch his minutes throughout the year.

Let's say Foster stays. Hard for me to think Blackwell comes when there's already four guys for two spots. Just my opinion, but if we get Blackwell, I think we don't keep Caleb.

I do agree we need a solid big. Not some guy from some school that averaged 1.8 points, 2.4 rebounds in 10 minutes of action either. I don't think our 2 freshmen bigs are ready for the physicality they're about to see.

Now I don't think duke will get Blackwell, with foster coming back . Started get worried we don't how dominant scorer, we need couple big men , most top guys are sign .

Duke is still looking at three bigs in the portal. 2 centers and one PF I have read about and the only guard is Blackwell that I know of. Meyer’s is a true back up at the moment but serviceable . Duke is also in contact with Syion Keata but no one knows what he’s gonna do . I think when the dust settles Duke will be fine .

I think once the dust has settled and the decisions have been made Coach Scheyer will hit the portal with what is needed. We should have that answer hopefully by next week. Need more dominos to fall into place.
