Vaaks from Providence committed to Illinois today. Hopefully that bodes well for us getting Blackwell.
I'd rather bring back Caleb than bring in Blackwell. If Caleb's gonna go, then Blackwell would be nice. But I'd much rather bring back as many guys as possible. Just like I hope Pat is coming back, and I would take him all day over Flory. In a perfect world, we'd bring back 4 or 5 guys. But it's the Wild Wild West now.

Of course Scheyer will have his work cut out for him, but Scheyer has usually played 9-11 guys since he’s been Leading the Blue Devils and usually has 4 guards on his teams.

I think Sarr and Evans and Ngongba go pro. Sarr is the closest I'd say to being retained.
Hard to say though. Any of those three that don't go pro I want to keep, obviously. Ngongba would be ideal as he's a center and we don't have one.
Losing Khamenia sucks as he's going to be a really good player. His shot is coming along.

It is weirdly quiet, but I am sure the coaching staff is still putting the pieces together. At least it's something to talk about.
The days of Bilas, Amaker, Dawkins playing 4 years together seems like the horse and buggy days. It's why I got into Duke basketball in 86. I don't know what this is but it's not that. I'm still going to cheer for Duke but it all seems a bit mercenary. It's just a different sport now. I'll adjust and enjoy talking Duke basketball but it's strange.
Goodman hinting we're getting some guys back. Take it FWIW.

I want guys back but they need impact. Just bringing guys back without Cam won’t cut it.
There are no Cams in the portal. I'd be pretty happy with Sarr, Pat and Cayden/and or Foster back.
Just heard Purdue guys all announced they are back together. 10 guys. It can be done; it's just rare. I like their program; they seem like a throwback.

Jon is trying to guys that can score, and also fit. He’s had four years at the job, so I’m betting he’s trying to cover the shortcomings we’ve had. Which are a lack of players that want to take shots with the game in doubt.

Did all their seniors get an extra year? Most of their starters this year were seniors .
Kindly disagree. Blackwell is much better than Caleb. Not even close really.
