See reports that Oregon is trying to get Jacob Young.
saw that on Twitter. What is with Oregon? I can see this happening too bc of the success Eugene had there. They play pro style and starters ply 30 plus minutes. Great way to be a featured player to help pro stock

When is there going to be a update on the status of Baker and Harper? With most of the players from major conferences in the portal already chosen another school,Rutgers could be facing a uphill climb if Baker and or Harper decide not to return.

Deadline to withdrawn your name from the draft and return to your school is July 19th.

Not sure when the Combine invites will go out this year - haven't heard any news about it. Last year it didn't happen until July, but it was a virtual combine in a pandemic year. In 2019, they went out early may for a 5/15-5/19 event.

I'd imagine if Baker/Harper get invited to the combine, they'd stay in through the combine before making their decision. The combine runs from 6/21-6/27, so I'd expect invites to go out in the next couple of weeks.

It is a curious situation.
Both have already received feedback.
And the feedback is usually fairly specific.
For example - Isaiah Jackson (Kentucky) specifically said:

"“All the feedback from teams has been good,” Jackson told Givony. “People are saying lottery, which is what I wanted."

https://www.hoopsrumors.com/2021/05/projected-lottery-pick-isaiah-jackson-to-stay-in-draft.html

Since neither Baker or RHJ has said they will be signing an agent then I would guess both received less than desirable grades.
Perhaps they are trying to jump up in the Combine - if they are even invited.
