I'm not sure anyone in college baseball is better than UNC at identifying guys who can move up in competition and thrive.
Two kids who were player of the year in their conference so far. Not too shabby
CJ Egrie. He's been the Patriot League POY the past two seasons.
We knock it out of the park with position players in the portal every year - no doubt…I often wonder why we can’t do the same with stud pitchers - the price tags?

Yep. It seems like we like to have experience in the field, especially up the middle and bring in great young talent on the mound. Not a bad plan, IMO.
