There's a lot of information out there from reputable organizations that state the same. Having said that, the trans community self-reports that 50% of them are verbally attacked in any given year and 10% are physically attacked, so it's no wonder they suffer from mental distress and especially now that the Right is foaming at the mouth like rabid attack hounds in their performative, fascist attempt to destroy them.
Being different doesn't equal mentally ill - hell we could all probably qualify as different in one way or another but what you despise is people who are different from you.

Personally, I don't despise those different. Not advocating for you to lose your right to vote. Not advocating for violence against anyone. If you need help, get help.
