I remember back in the day when all post season tournaments were held at "one venue", with no single games at higher seed's court crap.

Why did this change ?

Less Travel (only 1 team has to travel) Lower Cost (No venues to rent and staff)

With this current conference format, revenues would drop also I would imagine if games were held at a neutral site. Not many outside of die hard loyals and family would travel and pay to see a team with a losing record play and get crushed.

I believe if they had 2 games a night at given location, attendance would improve. Make location central.

Here's probably the main reason.....It's easier on the VHSL to do it this way. LOL...

I wish they would change it and go back to having real tournaments and outlaw any school playing tournament on their home floor.
