This has really become a really strange game for both teams in the second half.

Memphis got a really bad call. The timeout was missed by the officials. Penny under achieves again.

Memphis loses as Penny calls his last time out inexplicably with 5 seconds to go and so Memphis has to make desperation shot. Terrible coaching. No reason to use up that last time out. ( Maybe Haith told him to call it) Penny throws water bottle across court.

Wow, what a weird finish.

FAU won, but their big men couldn't seem get too many clean shots the whole game. There was always a Memphis player above them trying to block them or the shot. They should have gone up immediately in many instances, but were hesitant because of what Memphis was doing to them all game.

It has to be frustrating to be a Memphis fan with Hardaway as your coach. Although tonight I think the refs were part of their demise.

Their coach was honest with them from the start in the locker room. He immediately said we didn't have our best game, but won. We have to focus on Fairleigh after 15 min of celebration. Right focus.

Penny could not get Davis back in game with no timeouts either. Really dumb. The big guy who held and blocked off Williams on last shot was the hero.

Penny got lucky that Andre played that many minutes with 4 fouls. Without them both, we'll see if next season goes downhill a bit, or if penny can reload with someone who knows how to run a team. Next year Penny might miss on floor coach, Davis.

For FAU, Fairleigh Dickinson won't be as hard of a matchup with Fairleigh's 6'4" & 6'6" 'forwards'.

Penny showed what a poor sport he is with that bottle throw. Honestly it shouldn’t even have come down to that last play as the FAU player was fouled on his shot right before the tie-up and it wasn’t called. I’m always happy to see Memphis lose.

I loved the way FDU played. That press on every single defensive possession reminded me of Nolan’s 40 minutes of hell.

I thought they said that his teammate pushed him after he hurt his ankle. That's something to be upset about. When you are that frustrated it is easy to get upset

He was pointing and yelling at Dandridge then when he got into Dandridge’s personal space Dandridge pushed him away. I think he would have tackled Dandridge if the coaches hadn’t grabbed him. Then Davis started yelling at Penny and poking him in the chest. Total loss of control by Davis.
