Obviously an awful matchup can ruin any teams tournament. This team will need competent and neutral officiating to win too.

But, man I really like this team for the elite 8

Not a popular opinion, cause y'all don't really know basketball, but we outplayed Baylor last night. Lol. The officials knew scouts were at ghe game to grade motley and he was turned loose to do whatever he wanted. Nice of them I guess

Considering Nate was in ******** foul trouble all game and Esa was out altogether, we had two 6'9 guys out pretty much the whole game. That accounts for the rebounding #s. If Nate had been allowed to play the numbers would have been dramatically different.

Baylor camped out in the paint all night and dared anyone to call 3 seconds. Baylor got away with more push offs and hacks, particularly motley on the hacks, than anyone we've played all year.

You can't just watch the score. play that game with neutral officials and we win.

I believe if this team makes to sweet 16 it will be an accomplishment. Anything after that is gravy.

This season, ANY team might make the Elite Eight or lose in the first round.
But WVU is the ONLY team with wall-to-wall defense from the opening tip to the final horn. That exhausts our opponents.
I love this team.

THis depends on if the officials decide to call fouls or let's them play.

Likely WV plays Bay again next week. We beat em far worse than they beat us thus far.

Officiating was one sided. WV had 10 more fouls & Bay had 15 more free throws.

Any can be upset. Few are legit contenders capable of advancing beyond one magical game. Even less have blown out no. 1 ranked teams.

There's none this team couldn't beat. But any Ws this time a year are hard to come by. Would say Sweet 16 without seeing the bracket or knowing the opponents.

The SFA upset will be talked about to death prior to the 1st game & the players will become annoyed & angry when it's implied it'll happen again.

Cliched but I like the chances in the 2nd game over the 1st one with prep time.

Couple BXII teams will lose early & immediately the whole league will be pegged overrated again. Then someone from the league will make the Final Four & opinions will flip back.

& Jevon Carter is awesome.
