Toughest regional?

Of course LSU gets the highest RPI team as it’s first round opponent plus the easiest regional to move on to the super.
If you’re going to it strictly by RPI. Should at least throw out the 4-seed. But RPI is wildly wrong on some teams (like Northeastern & Coastal Carolina)).
edit: as far as tough regionals for the host to win, I think UMiss, USM & Coastal Carolina are all strong bets to lose. Auburn got a cupcake & LSU got an easy regional (what else is new?).

Athens has 3 head coaches (and one assistant) on our hot board. That has to be the toughest, right?
It’s honestly one of the more well balanced fields I can recall. Yeah LSU got a cakewalk but otherwise the other regionals feel like they should be reasonably competitive.
NC State is a pretty strong 2 seed for Auburn and they have a coach who has taken them to Omaha three times. Not sure that will be a breeze for them, although the 3 and 4 in that regional maybe aren’t great.
It’s happened to us twice. 2007 and 2018, the 2 seeds won both Regionals in our pairing.
Told yall about LSU and the "committee" . Absolutely a 17ing joke .
So can we ditch the idea now that low ones get high 2s? Ga tech was 17 or 18 and got shipped to 10. TCU was 17 or 18 and got sent to 8.
That tends to go one of two ways. Either they are pissed and steamroll everybody or they don’t want to be there and go 0-2.
