Several throughout the state yesterday, I think Ryan Hall said there were nine confirmed, glad it missed you. We had an F3 hit our neighborhood in VA during the 2011 outbreak, destroyed two houses two doors down. Demolished my daughters middle school, fortunately it was on a Saturday.

Damn those Tornados are scary s.hit, they are really rare here in Utah, but we get 60 and 70 mph winds now and again, and that's bad enough. My oldest brother still lives in Hopkins county, Ky, and They have had some tornados the last few years, come close to him.

I saw 5 at one time in 1998. They passed within about a mile from us. There was 1 big one and 4 smaller ones going along beside it. The sound was something that I will never forget. There was a lot of damage. It was almost hypnotic watching all of that power.

Hate tornadoes. Give me living 1 hour from thr beach on the panhandle and worrying about the rare hurricane weather over living n middle TN and dang tornadoes.

As Dwight said in the office the best way to combat a hurricane is to read a newspaper lol adequate warning to flee inland if needed.

Hope everyone was safe yesterday n KY. Its been a relatively tame storm season here n middle tn. So far.

Yeah man, Deep South heading up to the mid-Atlantic, NC gets a lot during these long track storms. Seems like those troughs coming down from Canada are sharper and dipping farther south pulling that warm air up from the gulf. Learned that from Ryan Hall lol.
