Kentucky has never had a worse player to start. What does he add? Can someone explain why Cal keeps giving him mins?

I was the only one here telling people he's no good. Cal still can't get it.
They are both better than Toppin
People hated him due to what he said about Rupp. He was inconsistent but I think would have improved with another year here and been better than Toppin.
Every shot Toppin shoots looks so difficult. Just play normal.
Ugonna's time will come, you don't want to destroy his confidence try to guard a talent like Jaques (sp). Toppin bring nothing offensively or defensively. Ware at least was strong enough to man up and stay in front of him. IMO power forward is our Achilles heel.
Enough is enough with him. He was never going to be any good at a top 25 school. We have fallen and we won't get up. It still takes Cal more than 2 plus years to realize Toppin shouldn't get mins. I bet he will still start, when it's clean a lineup change is needed. Play all the freshman. Everyone but Toppin.
And for someone with his vertical he gets a lot of his shots blocked
Is he worse than Michael Porter and Ramon Harris? Those were the two worst starters in my lifetime, I believe. Yes, even more then the probation years.
He can jump way up high and slap sticks in the combine drills.
That’s why you try a different tactic. Play Livingston at the 4 and go small. And stick with it for more than 5 minutes.

Livingston is the perfect 4 for us. He’s taking UCLA’s wings off the dribble. He made a 3. He’s actually battling.
I can care less what he said. He's better clearly and his words doesn't hurt that fact. He's 10 times the player toppin is.
Toppin needs to become a 5-10 minute guy when someone is in foul trouble. Hopefully Cal goes with Livingston at the 4 not the 3. It's about time we start looking like a modern CBB team with a 4 that can shoot and handle some.
Livingston is close to the same size as Washington. Washington was the last solid 4 man we have had.
Issue is we have two really good starters and 8 guys are players near the end of the rotation level.

Not true he is good just the style of play Cal runs is not for him
Cronin said he told his guy DO NOT close out on Toppin. Meaning he can’t shoot! Yet another coach, ( Yale coach also ) pointing out Toppin as an offensive liability.
