Top Gun anthem or Danger Zone

I think we should play the Top Gun anthem or the song Danger Zone at Davis Wade Stadium sometime during the game maybe after we score a TD or the start of a quarter to honor Leach and the AirRaid HailState. It would be much better than Don’t Stop Believing in the 4th quarter

Unfortunately we are all getting old. At a certain point, you have to update the music, but not to stuff your middle aged fans and coaches like. Top Gun is pushing 40 years old. If they'd have played 40 year old music in the late 90's we would have be listening to 17ing doo wop when I was in the student section.

And for what it's worth, if you want to go 80's fighter pilot movies, Iron Eagle kicks the **** out of Top Gun. Gimme Some Lovin' in the sequence where Doug avenges Chappy for the win. Not to mention, Top Gun is all about dog fighting other planes, Iron Eagle actually conducts an air raid so bad *** that a canvas tent explodes when a communications tower falls on it.

ETA. For any of you too young to know about Iron Eagle, go watch it. The sequels don't hold up as well, but the original is glorious.

I think the Top Gun Anthem would be cool but honestly it might be a bit obscure fjr half the players and fans. I think the best time to play it would be right as the offense takes the field the first time each game.
