Kylin Hill[/h]RB, Mississippi State
Senior
Last year's ranking: NR

Hill was one of the unsung stars of the SEC last season, rushing for 1,350 yards and 10 touchdowns. What he lacks in size at 5-foot-11, he more than makes up for with speed, quickness and surprising strength. He also has good hands, which could be a considerable advantage as Mike Leach brings the Air Raid offense to Starkville this season.

I blame Moorehead for my inability to take anything other than a show me attitude. I heard way too much about the way Kylin was going to be used the same as the Saquon was and then we had what we had...

Moorhead's offense really was frustrating. The other thing that was frustrating was our lack of discipline and toughness. One of the biggest things that irritated me about Kylin last year was his body language. He moped and hung his head a lot. I hope this coaching staff is fixing that.

It feel like a literal lifetime ago that Moorehead was our coach yet our new coach has yet to kickoff his first game. It's one of the weirder feelings during even weirder times. My mental clock doesn't reconcile Moorehead to having been just last year.

Watching an undisciplined and soft team was the worst part. Mullen made discipline look easy. Moorhead made it look impossible. Hopefully Leach can get them in line after 2 years of anarchy.

attitude and discipline were a huge problem under Moorhead. You gotta believe the Pirate will not have a problem in this area.

Moorhead really was a lot like Croom. The only difference is that he had a real resume. They both were good recruiters (yes, Croom was too, he was just recruiting to a different type of MSU team). They even reacted the same once they got pushed into a corner (see Moorhead after the Egg Bowl). I'll be the first to admit that I didn't want to see this during the year, and thought he needed at least 3 years, but that was more for program continuity than anything. Oh well.

Croom's team looked overweight, injury prone and generally had bad attitudes too. There was a lot of trouble off the field. When Mullen came in, I remember what seemed to be an instant change in Anthony Dixon and many other. Suddenly we were so much faster. I expect the same with Leach.
