Probably correct order right now. Really impressed with 2, 3 and 4 this year. Maybe we'll actually see 2 new teams in championship game. I'm guessing OSU and OU this year. Not ready to pick NC yet.

So far I'd go OSU, but I need to see them play better competition. Bamas played one of the easiest scheds in the country so far.

Clemson has made 4 playoff appearances in a row and won the national title last year. Until they lose, I see no reason why any team should pass them besides Bama. My top 5:
1. Alabama
2. Clemson
3. OSU
4. LSU
5. Oklahoma

It's still relatively early, but this may be the best top 5 of all time. I feel like any one of these teams could be a national title winner in previous years. There's also some very good teams right behind them too.

At this point in the season, nobody has been better than OSU and it's not close. Hopefully for them they don't have their yearly brainfart game and eliminate themselves from the playoffs.

1. Osu
2. LSU
3. Ou
4. Bama
5. Clemson

Actually LSU has played a lot stiffer competition and have done pretty well. I'd say LSU is the true #1

You could make the argument that LSU is number 1, no doubt. I'm just really impressed with what I've seen from OSU. If they don't trip up this team may be considered one of the greatest of all time.

I'm interested to watch the Wisconsin/OSU game. I think there's a decent chance that the BIG does what it always does and eats its own.

There have been a lot of teams that have looked impressive at this time of year. Yet it's always Alabama and Clemson who end up on top. I see it being no different this year.

what do previous seasons have to do with this season?
Clemson doesn't always look the prettiest during the regular season. But they prove again and again that they're right up there with Bama come playoff time and playing at a different level than every other team. I don't think it's going to be any different this year, so that's what it has to do with this year.
