If Midway can continue to build onto their previous 2 seasons, they can be in the mix when it comes to top overall programs. However, it will be tough. But counting this upcoming season, over the 3 year stretch they have produced a late rising division 1 tight end in Jacob Holland (ECU), one of the top OL in the state, John Williams, who holds numerous D1 offers, a top baseball player in the state at the QB position, Tanner Williams, (NCSU Commit), along with numerous D2 caliber players. 2 straight 8-3 Seasons with a whole lot of stats to show. They should have another good year this season but if they can withstand this same success after the class of 27' then hats off. If not, then being in a conference with consistent contenders like Wallace & James Kenan, in one of the better classifications in the state, 3A East, they will be exposed.

Kinston takes a step back this year. They'll still be good but man did they lose a lot. I believe right now I would lean towards northeastern as the favorite in the east. I expect Wallace rose hill and James Kenan to be in the mix as always. Pasquotank actually had a solid year last year jokes aside, I think they could be a sleeper in the east.

Yeah, Kinston may make some noise next year, but I believe the Eagles of Northeastern and the Jk Tigers will probably be the top teams this year in the east

Those GhostDogs from Teachey may have a very good team
Wouldn't surprise me. Even the best programs take dips over time, but what has set apart the Elite programs is they seem to always bounce back. I know you all have been down for y'alls standards, but I expect you all to make a run again soon. We heard it after several of our runs, but folks just don't understand how difficult it is to be able to sustain the excellence year after year.

Just cannot see Kinston being as good as they were last year. Great athletes, good coaching, so they'll be solid but expect them to take a step back. Ayden-Grifton also lost a lot, so I expect them to take a step back as well. Farmville is interesting! Wouldn't be surprised if they make a little noise this year. I still don't expect them to be as good as Northeastern, JK, or even Wallace, but with their highpowered O, I can see them giving some teams a hard time.

ya'll dont see much out there, hence ya'll make these statements all the time.
Out where? And who is y'all? I have seen plenty of high school football for about 40 years, and that's across many states. From Ohio all the way down to Georgia. So is there a problem with the statement that I made?

A guy who looks like a world beater in the weaker region of NC glorified JV ball doesn't exactly translate to world beater status outside the suburbs of the metro pig and swamp land.

Well it got him to a D1 college! And that's the next level for a kid in high school to achieve, so evidently he was good enough to make it out of the "metro pig and swamp land." I guess playing in the "weaker region of NC glorified JV ball," helped him attain the same results of any "world beater" playing in any bigger classification.

When Wallace spanks your butt in a few weeks I'll be back for you.
