1. Casey Thompson - Pretty self explanatory. Need someone to take over the QB spot to make this thing go.
2. Ajay Allen - I love this kids film and we haven't had a big time running back in a long time. I like some of the other pieces, but I have a lot of Koolaid running through me watching this kid
3. Boomscini - We have been ****** at punting for a long time. I feel like this kids leg could gain us 3-10 points a game if he is able to flip the field and just be decent at punting. His film is unreal and I can't wait to finally have a good punter.

There was a time not too long ago I don't think I could have been convinced a punter would ever be in a top 3 list of newcomers for a power 5 team. The last few years have cured me of that thinking.

Thompson, Ajay, and I have Hunter Anthony/Trey Palmer tied for #3. All of these guys can help open up our offense. Hopefully between Palmer and Brown, we regularly have a burner on the field instead of a slow white guy.

Thompson
Brown
Boomscini

All three will start right away and make us better. I view Palmer, Singleton and Anthony/Williams similarly.

Thompson as #1 for me, my impression of Adrian is that football was a hobby for him and in listening to Thompson talk it sounds like football is life for him. I’m excited to see what he can do

1. Thompson- quicker decisions than AM
2. Anthony/Williams- need OL competition
3. *The stud DL that we need to bring in ASAP- DL group needs experienced help.

Honorable mention to Bleekrode/Buschini- Special Teams has changed W’s to L’s, and it’s time to flip that around.

Tip of the cap to the DBs, WRs and RBs that are gonna crank up the competition.

An important if. If Williams is better than Sichterman and Anthony is better than Benhart, line play improves, so long as Teddy P and Corcoran are ready to go.

The OL production has been a head scratcher for sure. Let's hope Raiola is the piece that has been missing and we see actual good line play finally.

Turner has to find a spot that he excels at. It may very well end up being center.

Watched a chunk of this video. The ball gets out of his hands quick enough and there is good velocity on the ball. He is scanning for receivers. He is mobile and has good escapability. He will be able to operate whatever part of the QB run game is left in the playbook after Whipple's massaging. Caveat - what looks good against Big 12 Ds may be less so against B1G defenses.

It’s a huge loss to have Prochazka and Corcoran out for spring, especially if trying to change Corcoran’s position on the line.

While Prochazka did well in a small sampling, we need to temper the expectations.
He’s young, has minimal experience, and now missing spring after injury. I hope he bounces back fine, but it’s no sure bet.

Corcoran missed most of fall camp, now missing spring, also relatively young despite his baptism by fire.

A big hope is that Raiola can be the difference maker for that room.

the biggest addition is the subtraction of Adrian Martinez

if we did nothing else, our offensive ceiling would still be raised significantly by his ouster

run it & chuck it deep!!!

I think we are going to see a lot of moving pieces with the OL under Raiola's coaching. You have to believe you will see OT's to OG's and OG's to OT's and then the center position will be interesting let's just hope they can snap the ball to Thompson with some zip and accuracy.

I just hope they all have a personal best performance when we play the Hawksuckers.
