Uh, ok. MVP of 3 straight bowl games that were played for the MNC. He is the reason for the glory of the 90s. Name me a player in the history of Nebraska who had that much effect over 3 seasons? He set the standard. And I knew he wasn't in the top 11, on this list.

Not gonna argue about something this dumb. Sure, Staubach was great. You're saying no one in the last 25+ years was deserving? Seems like a list a few really old people put together.

Didn't see the list, but I have to ask, why not the only guy that won the Outland twice and has an award named after him?

Had he had a better pro career I bet he would have. It shouldn't, but subconsciously I bet that held him back in the 40s on their list.

Tim Tebow would have been one of them especially over someone like Roger Staubach..

Go ahead and put Tommie Frazier’s highlight against Johnny Rodgers highlights and than make a rational decision on who was better..

2 vs 3 MNC games. Both won 2. 1 Bowl MVP vs 3. JR was obviously more electric. TF made everyone electric.

TF shared one MVP with Charlie Ward..

Rodgers didn’t have the luxury of touching the ball every down but was more feared when the ball was in his hands..

So 2.5 to 1. Oh and that one that he shared...Nebraska was a 17.5 point dog to FSU IIRC. Hmmm.

And touching the ball on every play means that TF had to bear more weight for the success or failure of his team vs JR.

Which doesn’t mean he was Nebraska best player..
Who won the Heisman who passed for TD, ran for a TD and caught a TD pass all in one game...

Sanders was way to high. He only started one year. Probably a coin toss between him and Jim Brown for the Pros though.
