How is it insecurity to ask about this? Jesus.
just click on your posting history.. 95% of your activity is in threads YOU start. Its like you might only read other threads to find topics to start your own thread about. Now.. I don't really care about your case specifically.. but I understand the dislike of thread multiplication.

My other pet peeve re: the boards is click-bait titles.. and especially those titles that that are purposefully mysterious.

12:30 to tip-off - the unofficial pregame party continues at Stout

Exactly....just like any other time. Newsflash....bars/restaurants like to make $$$. It's not like Stout is going to close once some Rutgers fans head out for the wrestling match.

Right but the buffet will be gone/not replenished.

Realistically, the food could be gone in the first hour or so of the event (even with multiple replenishments) so if that's a priority for anyone, the suggestion is to arrive early to get your money's worth. Cash bar is cash bar regardless (they don't always even have any separate drink specials during the pre-game event). If the decision is to pre-game by arriving at 1 or 2 or sometime in the lead up to the hoops game, folks will have at least one option at Stout that follows the formal event.

People are free to go elsewhere, of course. Pretty sure there will be pockets of RU fans at multiple midtown bars and restaurants. Sometimes the event gets so packed folks self-select to patronize another place, across the street, down the block, wherever. Just how it goes at these things.

2008. Have you been speaking with them and if so did you ask about any special deals they were giving that could be maintained? If not I'd be happy to make a call. I think the leverage of Having the bball only crowd come in after would be worth something to them vs. saying well organize another spot elsewhere willing to offer something.

DM me if you want to discuss offline.

I guess stout is where the AARP meeting is at.
Yup, were getting senior discounts at Stouts just fer us and half price train rides into NYC.

Oh and the best part? If this game was on a weekday afternoon we're all free and can still go ..

Jesus rough crowd! The guy posted an apology thread and is coming up here from South Carolina, for the second time in 10 days, to see us play again. I give the poster a lot of grief, quite often, but give them a break on this one lol!

It's fair to give posters grief for kind of dumb posts/threads, but we're all fans here and we all react differently to adversity and if he's coming up from SC for games, he should be applauded for that. We need all the loud voices we can get at MSG.

Naa this guy starts a million threads here and on the round table and on some other boards and they're all awful.
