F it. Might as well. Go get big paid. I hope one of the only bright spots this season breaks camp on us. It would be fitting.

Tough place to win at, and they’re a complete mess right now under Babers. He’ll have better opportunities soon enough.

Wouldn't touch that job if I were him. He will be in line for much better jobs within three years IMO.

This should make all of the posters that were bitching and moaning during yesterday's game very happy. I mean he's not any good anyway right?

Or he should strike while he can if he has a chance. Schedule about to get much tougher next few years. His stock is more likely to fall than rise.

I think he (and any other assistant coach) would jump at a chance to be a head coach at a Power 5 school, including Syracuse. Who knows if he’ll get a chance in the future.

That is what they are in the business for. Especially a P5 gig and somewhere you are familiar with.

Rhule’s doomed if this happens. I also don’t see the 3-3-5 continuing to work without players like Hutmacher and Robinson.

Tony is free to do what he thinks is best for his career. I would think carefully about accepting the Syracuse head coaching position. Paul Pasqualoni was the last winning coach (Doug Marrone was .500). Other than Morrone who escaped to the NFL I don't really think it elevated any of the other recent coaches' careers. Pasqualoni was 10-3 in 2001 and Barbers got them to 10-3 in 2018. Since 2000 Syracuse has mostly been .500 and below with the exception of the two 10-win seasons and 6 seasons of 6-8 wins thrown in. (Hope nobody looks at the Husker record during this time.) How much financial commitment does the football team get at this private school?

Didn't Syracuse already hire Fran Brown, a Rhule disciple?
