'Top Gun' as Hank would say.

[patdog]

One of my favorite players. Not surprising he's doing so well.

[fishwater99]

Great guy. And he was so quick, you don't realize it until you see it in person. Tried to guard him in the Tin Gym several times.
Many a good game played there with Tony, Brad White, Doug Hartsfield, Todd Merritt, Carl Nichols, Chris Hall, and Greg Lockhart.
You might have thought you could play ball until you played against our MSU players.

I remember those days. He would make a 3 pointer and Flick would say....... Wattttttssssss.

[tcdog70]

If my memory is correct--Tony went 11-for 11 over at the Bammers place and we whipped that ***.

Damn. He still looks the same.

Damn. He still looks the same.

Amazingly, he does. He's also a sharp dresser.

Had a few classes with Tony in McCool back in the day. He seemed like a nice guy. Always wore his sunglasses during class.

Thanks for sharing this article; it's encouraging to see our former athletes succeed in life after sports.

Tony Watts!

Loved watching him play. Great player who always played hard and gave 100% effort.

Glad to hear about his success. Not at all surprised.

Thanks for sharing this story.

I remember he would warm up with that giant ball that barely fit through the hoop.

[dawgman42]

YES! It was the most unique warm-up I've ever seen by a basketball player. That ball was enormous. Glad someone else remembered this.
