Unfortunately? Don't like sound of that
Who knows? Could be more on the part of ASU than butler. Could also be a missed opportunity to go to Arizona in the middle of winter. Would have been a fun trip. Even if it was just for the weather. We really don't know what is meant by his use of the word unfortunately.

If it means he's closer to pulling the trigger with us than I'll take it.

This was all on ASU

I'm my opinion no.
How do you screw up travel plans?
I can buy plane ticket to Phoenix right this minute
If,they wanted him there he could get there .
Interesting ANOTHER neb recruit who does not end up taking planned visit.
Are they all getting some special, gifts to cancel, their visits?

The tea leaves indicate our verbal drought should end no later than Wednesday when Butler announces. I *REALLY* hope that's the case. I shudder to think if the drought is still intact this time next week.

Are you a fan of this team? A lot of not-too-subtle hinting that our staff is doing something unethical in your 24 messages.

Not according to Butler.

Yeah. And I'm sure the cancellation came as a surprise to him as well. Some kids have a hard time internalizing recruiting. I promise you that he hasn't been actively recruited for over a month. The national guys keep coming to the asu sites and saying asu is in the top 5, top 3, etc. And the asu guys keep saying he is no longer on asu's board. I promise you he hasn't been in their plans for a while.

Why would you now be saying it's down to WVU and Nebraska? Why not just stick with the three teams with which you have an interest?
Makes sense... But If he eliminated ASU himself then the same would be said. The article didn't really say one way or the other, did it? if he eliminated ASU then it would be down to two... I have no idea who cooled on who, though, and you may be right on...

Asu stopped recruiting him over a month ago. You can go to any of the asu public sites to get this info.

Yes. They knew he was coming and they are in on other better guys. Butler became expendable and honestly, isn't anywhere near the prospect Murphy or Jackson are. There are only so many dB spots available on any team and Butler got squeezed out at Asu. I would imagine he commits to Nebraska quickly. Seems like a good kid, just not good enough to beat out top 4 star kids like Murphy, Lucas, etc.
