I think the players are talented--I mean these are same guys the coaches all go recruit and we get to see their talents. I think coaches don't always know what to do with talent--if anything I don't think youth hurts UK or Cal-think he's forcing them to play and cedes control--because the criticism of his approach offensively also deprives you of seeing Brandon Knight making plays to get to a Final Four, or Marquis Teague's growth in NCAA's where he was brilliant for most part, or Fr in '14 where each guy had moments to contribute other then Willis, and last year you had Towns, Lyles, and Ulis step up with Booker really being the guy who went awol a bit. This year--Murray struggled and they were not bad looks and think the shots Ulis got in transition for open 3's each time UK was ahead I'd not do over at all-just didn't go in. Will say that Cal admitted Bryant was vastly improved in pick and roll defense and he didn't expect him to be as good as he was overall--so that can happen but games often come down to making/missing shots--and that was this year's NCAA loss. Think it's less painful when you see it that way. Now want to talk about the seeding/matchups, then you have a serious complaint.

My criticism of the '15 defeat was you didn't play through your best matchup/player and to have shot clock violations is inexcusable from experienced guards--that was those guys 11th NCAA game and Twins really struggled. If they aren't getting it done--you put in someone else who will do what he's told. '14 was '14 and realize Aaron and Andrew were clutch against ND but Towns was amazing against ND and should've touched it each time down floor late.
