I could see that being the selling point for the start of next season in the push to get this done. One team coming forward during March Madness right now would do nothing.

Iowa’s not forfeiting a tourney game right now either. They want to plant the idea. It’s all about trying to embed more fear with the NCAA to get this done in the offseason. If it works, our guys are heros. Especially if they come back. Think about that.

Maybe I’m just not that good at Twitter but it seems like the whole discrepancy with the women’s and men’s facilities is what’s really trending the most with the tournament and this hasn’t really made much of a blip

Wonder how his teammates handled the thought of a protest being broadcast on twitter that would, in essence, disqualify Rutgers and cause us to forfeit our match.
I'm sure he consulted all our players though.
Why? It would lead to the destruction of the sport, the loss of hundreds of scholarships, and likely wreck Rutgers athletics department. There's nothing heroic about that.
I don't know a coach in the country who would be all for a distraction to his team at any point during the season, especially on the week of a tourney game. This has been addressed before and Geo again has created yet another distraction. Pike even said earlier in the season, "kids spend too much time on their phones". He's remaining silent for fear of retribution, his only recourse is to simply remain silent.
