28-9 Steelers win tonight. I know, I know…it’s preseason. It was like an Iowa reunion tonight with 7 Hawkeyes playing for the Steelers and 4 for the Packers. I also enjoy watching several former Hawkeyes players (including middle linebacker Jack Campbell and tight end Sam LaPorta) play for the Detroit Lions team. Did many Nebraska players get drafted last year?

Steelers certainly play in the tightly contested AFC North. Their over/under is 8.5 games this upcoming season for a potential wild card berth, despite a transition under a new head coach. Things could be worse as I’m a MN Vikings fan.

... yeah okay it's preseason but I'm glad football is back. I'm an addict and will take what I can get lol.

Again preseason but Drew Allar looked good. Maybe McCarthy and Rodgers can mold him into a good NFL quarterback. Years of living with Penn State fans and watching their games... PSU can't develop quarterbacks to save their lives for whatever reason

Gotta admit. Their QBs looked good. McCarthy might help them. GB gifted them WAY too many penalty yards. That was a huge factor.

iDL Ty Robinson: Robinson had a bad rookie season and he began camp getting reps with the developmental players, but he has steadily gotten more meaningful reps, and has gotten better as camp has progressed. He’s also just a second-year player and a high fourth-round pick at that, even if he was an older prospect when he entered the NFL. The Eagles are not going to give up on him this soon, especially with questionable iDL depth beyond the top four guys. He will very likely be on the roster.
