Need New Mexico to upset Utah State and eliminate a possible mid major stealing an at large.

Nevada has a less than 0% chance, Yes they are 19-11 but Q1 0-5 Q2 1-4 they have no chance without winning MWC tournament. IF SDSt. Loses, you have to root for Utah St. so they don't get 3.

Can Boise potentially take an at large? They're 21-11 but will most likely be eliminated by SDSU in the semis.

Pac-12 will constrict. Four teams have to lose in the quarterfinals of their tournament.

yup
and 4 get byes but the Stanford, ASU and possibly USC will not be getting byes so they could easily get picked off by a bottom feeder. Looks like Stanford looking pretty locked for 7th which means they will get either Oregon or UCLA in the quarters...if UCLA does not beat USC, a game between UCLA-Stanford is an elimination game

Speaking of PAC 12, I watched part of ASU Washington. Bill Walton is a tool. My God I couldn’t listen to it. The conference is terrible.

Lafayette won too.

They are good enough to win two more to claim the Patriot League auto bid. The more RU opponents in the field the better.

It’s hard to win 3 times in a season, but they play 1 seed Colgate next and already beat them twice in conference play.

good point. Isn’t this going to happen with the B12 bubblers too unless WVU and TT take Baylor and Kansas down to close their seasons? Even if that happens - Texas cant draw a TT or WVU winner of one of these games in the first round of the tourney without losing to Okie State. The best case for them is the bubble going 4-0 to close the season and they’d then play Oklahoma fresh off a win at TCU. That requires both Baylor and Kansas going down. Bottom line, Texas in any other scenario is almost certainly drawing a first round bubbler coming off another loss. Unless they beat Kansas or Baylor to go to the finals, I can’t see how this adds enough for them to push them ahead of RU. They are really short on quality wins.

Mr. "Conference of Champions"? He may be right HISTORICALLY but he oversells it so much it totally loses its effect and value.

I love Bill Walton. I would hate having him announce a Rutgers game, but he's perfect for the late-night Pac-12 games.

It is still correct, just not historically. Stanford has the most NCAA titles (125) followed by UCLA (118) and then USC.(107). No other conference is close. Penn State is 4th with 51.

I find him to be a good listen. He’s different to say the least. The Conference of Champions stuff is over the top and annoying.

Yeah but he relates it to basketball and his UCLA years...which I know were amazing. I don't have the data in front of me but I would be shocked to see the PAC a dominant BBall conference over say the last 10-15 years.
Just way too much a homer but maybe that's his "shtick" . more tongue and cheek and I'm missing it.

He loves the PAC 12, and I am pretty sure the C of C stuff he talks about is overall athletic success.

I watched some of that. Arizona St played slopppy undisciplined ball. Completely unraveled late. They have a kid Remy Martin who was like 1 for 20 and kept shooting 30 footers early in clock, never seen anything like it. Like somebody paid him.

Not my cup of tea. Too much theatrics. He is all over the place in his commentary in my opinion.

Currently, RU has left a red flag on the table for the committee to use. There are a lot of things good on the resume but I have seen the committee pick and choose what they want to use as their main criteria. So yes there is a 1 in 5 scenerio where if RU does not win another game, they are not going to get invited. Win tomorrow and I think its a lock and any snub would be a travesty of justice where we would need to lock up the committee members

I thought it'd be a lower % so I'll take it for sure.
