He said he would need to review the tape to assess the extent that the turnovers were our defense vs his team mistakes. That’s a very fair comment to make post game.
I also don’t think the comment about his team’s defense was entirely wrong either. He said their defense was decent considering we had 67 total including 33 off turnovers and made 10 of 12 from the line. That said, I thought the emphasis on all their (missed point blank open shots) was overdone. It was more prompted by the reporter than Izzo but then, how many open looks did Harper miss? Surely if he made some of those we’d have dropped more than 67 points. Was the only thing that annoyed me in that presser - you can’t have it both ways.
