Did you see the standing ovation he got from the crowd when he cut down the nets?

I think he should really show his support for his team by wearing the candy striper pants the rest of the season.

Someone should re-post that side by side picture of Crean alongside of Beavis/Butthead. He has a startling resemblance to Butthead.

Ok, I'm sick of the denigrating of one of the great coaches of our time. One Coach Tom Crean. If you have a problem with Crean you got to go through me. Is that a problem?

Even the great ones have a few critics!! Those morons that want to get rid of the man who single handedly brought their nasty program back from probation!! He should have a statute out side that dump they call Assembly Hall !! He is so above those people !!

Just thinking aloud.

Tom Crean has coached his own team to a final four and gets pulverized for making sweet 16's.

What exactly has Tubby done without the UK name attached? Sweet 16's, NIT's, losing conference seasons nearly yearly.

To put that in context, if Tubby has a winning season in conference at Memphis this year, it will be the first time his teams had a winning record in league since he left Kentucky, 10 years ago.

Tubby gets the edge because he's got a title and has advanced further, But we all know why. There's not much difference in Tubby and Crean if you took away the UK name. But I guess at least he produced for 6 or 7 years at UK. Crean hasn't produced squat at Indiana.

Um, I think that was his team that he coached to a title. The "myth" that the players on that team told him to get out of the way and they will take care of it, lol! If you believe that then I have nothing else to say. You have a little revisionist history there. tubby never went back to a FF but he had some good teams. Averaged around 26 wins per year, Tom Crean has averaged 18.5 wins at IU in previous 8 seasons. Might get there this year.

What exactly has Tom Crean done without the name D-Wade attached? What did Bob Knight do after he left IU? Tubby had a 3 year run of 32-4, 27-5, and 28-6. It was time for Tubby to go but he can coach. I guess I am being redundant because you do say, Tubby produced and Crean hasn't done squat. Well that was my point I guess. Yeah it is hard to win in Minnesota and Memphis and TTU for Tubby and Bobby. Ok rant over

If they do fire him and I believe they will......Indiana has the potential to be really really good with the right coach. Problem is they almost always select an idiot.
