Being fair to Southern...
All the jabs aside, I have no hate for USM I will be there on Sept. 5th in a party of 6 folks, 4 Maroon and 2 Yellow. 3 hotel rooms for us that night, 2 from West Piont, 1 from Starkville, 1 from McComb, and 2 USM folks coming in from Ashville NC.
I save all my hard feelings up for the Black Bears.
I don't like the way USM tried to get MS Legislation to make MSU and USM play football back in the day, but I don't hate them. And I do have to admit that it would have been a better game back then, just like Tyson vs. Lewis would have been a better contest 10 years earlier.
Best of luck to USM in their OTHER 11 games after Sept. 5th, and hopefully they will get 12 games after Sept. 5th.

Understand 'why' you came over here .. Southern Miss boards are crap. I still can't get anyone on your rivals board to discuss THEIR team. 'Who' is going to start at QB .. Nick Mullens (20 of 42, 2 Ints last year against State) or Matthews, high rated transfer from TCU. How many of the 22 transfers will start/play?

It was a great interview. But why would we want to watch an interview from a 4-24 Conference USA coach? It's just seems a bit boring, unlike the game you had with Alcorn last year. Which was a good old fashioned rivalry with two evenly matched teams.
You want some very not-boring comedy, go read some of their message boards. I think it's the same type people that used to post under the Clarion-Ledger articles. Poor Southern Miss.
