Nebby fans in Dublin will be having a few extra Irish whiskeys tonite, ha!

Good game.

Good teams find a way to win and Frost’s Nebraska isn’t that.

More than the TOs and anything else I put the game on Frost’s onsides kick decision. Momentum can create so many good things even when you’re not performing and to give it up like that for no real gain was just dumb.

Frost blames OC Whipple after game one today? Didn’t Frost call the offensive plays last season?

Already he’s questioning the play calling from the new OC? Not a good sign for Frosty.

Final question postgame was whether Frost would consider stepping down.

Didn’t one-time Rutgers terrific lineman John Glass (2-time All Big East) play for Whipple at the University of New Haven?

Unbelievable question !! LOL the culture in Nebraska is just different, can you imagine Steve Politi asking Greg Schiano if he would consider stepping down after a loss !! LOL even more surprised Frost answered it casually.

agree with above, if OU beats Nebraska in Lincoln especially a route, Scott is dragged out of there before the Huskers reach Piscataway.

Based on what he writes , politi should have the balls to ask that type of question when it’s warranted . If he doesn’t, shame on hi.

Their new Special Teams Coordinator is a coach from the Ash Error:

Why would you place a guy who has been coaching defense most of his career and put him in charge of special teams? (he had 3 years of ST experience at Nebraska from 2004-07 while also coaching outside linebackers)

"RUTGERS: Busch spent two seasons at Rutgers in 2016 and 2017 where he served as defensive backs coach in 2016 and then added the title of co-defensive coordinator in 2017. In 2016, Busch helped the Scarlet Knights rank among the nation’s best in both red zone defense (No. 6 at 72.7 percent) and passing defense (No. 18 at 186.5 yards per game)."

That stuff happens. Rossi became a DC under flood after being the special teams coach . And that happened during the season

The bigger failure today for Nebraska was defense. They got burned over and over with wide open guys and holes at the line of scrimmage you could drive an Amazon van through, by a Northwestern team that has not exactly been Oregon under Chip Kelly. They barely scored against us last year.
