After 5... 5-4, Dawgs

They will come around, but right now some of our experienced guys are struggling at the plate. Just can't seem to get key hits with runners on base.

Westburg, Allen, and Foscue are just about the only people we can count on at the plate right now. Almost everyone else has an ugly batting average right now.

Was it 2013 that we lead the nation in runners stranded?

I'm reminded of that season early this year.

Not just struggling to get hits with ROB, but striking out with ROB. No pressure on the defense when you are swinging at air.

Apparently, the hitting coach was tossing underhand to them during Fall practice. Some of these guys need a tennis racket to make contact.

But they will be fine.

You know its bad when you are having to Sac bunt in the 7th just trying to get an insurance run against Alcorn. Geez.

Welp. Looks like our disappointed posting is read by the Team in the dugout.

All of a sudden the ball is finding our guys bats!

Nice to see the 12 hits on a cold and windy day. Maybe the trip will be good for them too. Make them live together for a few days on the road and leaders might step up.
