Good show, HD6. I enjoy these candid "fireside chats" from time to time, especially when those to the North are losing their minds.

Way too logical. Ole Miss fans will repel that shat with a quickness. You know they are allergic to anything that doesn’t support their propped up, make believe world.
I just want a whole show where you and 4-finger-discount debate food. When he says things like "Denny's is the best place for breakfast" your voice rises as high as your blood pressure and I can hear the veins popping out of your neck
We all can relate to Hadad and Walker because we ARE state fans and we know what comes with being a state fan. Brian and Brandon are the guys you want to sit next to and talk about state because they can ***** and be funny about it. Bobby C is the guy who tries to tell you that the weather is not too bad during a hurricane.
I’m surprised that more people have not latched onto the take you had at the end. When you were talking about how Ole Miss could have avoided this mess by being honest and upfront at the beginning and therefore allowing themselves to be that much further along in the recovery stage, it got me thinking about their future hire for a coach. The administration at Ole Miss has more than proven themselves to be untrustworthy at best. What would make a high profile coach want to work for that mess?
I realize who he works for and I know his dad from my first class at state (great class, great guy). It's just not good radio when Bob comes on and tries to sell us something we all know is BS. Hopefully Brian keeps calling him out on it. Also, I would hope State would never fire him for saying something critical of our teams.

Whoever does take it will have their work cut out for them. They'll be in the most competitive division in the most competitive, high-profile conference in the country. And they'll have the luxury of a delusional fanbase, a neutered booster network, the NCAA watching you like the Eye of Sauron, a national media who doesn't trust your institution, a shiny new mascot based on a fish out of water, a racially charged environment and... 'tra-dish-un'.
Oh, and you'll be expected to win right away.

Definately enjoyed the topic ... ESPECIALLY how Umiss could have put this **** behind them by showing a bit more integrity on the front end. So true.
I would add one thing though ... Brian calls it as HE sees it, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's the truth. He tends to have an overly "negative" take on things at times. While it might be a legitimate point of view, it's still an OPINION. (That is after all, how this board was founded). I just want to seperate "fact" from "opinion" as they are often mixed by our very own.
Brian said it best - he's more of an editorialist... and that's the truth. He has ripped into MSU & coaches - sometimes deservedly, sometimes not. But his willingness to do that is what makes him a favorite among the Barrett Sallees & Godfrey's of the umiss media... that is, until State starts winning.
Having said that, I admire what he's built. He's definately got the personality for radio/podcasting.

Yeah we get it. I’m sure off the record he’s awesome but best case right now he’s a lame duck co-host bc he can’t answer anything. The worst show of the week is ABC. It was awesome when Cannizzaro filled in. Although I was disappointed when a guy his size and is big into working out doesn’t know that BCAAs stands for Branched Chain Amino Acids.

Haha I agree. That would be a cool *** maroon memory. Being trained by Canni in the gym and shooting the **** about Mississippi State baseball while doing it.
This is stupid and the reason he is handicapping the show. I’m sure bob is a great guy and hope he doesn’t take this personally if he reads this, but if there’s things he can’t talk about, and continuously pumps sunshine because he’s afraid of his job being in jeapordy, he shouldn’t be doing the show. It’s like picking a race partner with 1 leg and and constantly telling people the reason you’re losing races is because he only has 1 leg, when you could have someone with no limitations. I’m sure that sounded better in my head than it actually is, but hopefully you get my point. Still enjoy the b&b show. It’s actually my favorite on bsr, but it does get annoying with bob at times.
