as soon as the injury list came out today. We basically have three players that are the engine that moves all of the other parts of this offense. Two of them were out. It doesn’t get nearly as much bandwidth, but we had key defensive people out as well. It happens. Hopefully they will be healthy by next week, but don’t get your hopes up.

I tend to agree, but, sort of looked like just rolled over. It should never happen that way.
Standup, be a man, make them pay for being on the field.

The coaching staff apparently agrees with you. And before you see that as validation, let me say that it's one of the biggest reasons they need to be gone.

Unfortunately Lebby has already maxed out his deductions and it’s about time to pay back taxes or file for bankruptcy

What exactly were they supposed to do? Let’s hear it coach, I’m sure you have a fool proof plan that could compensate for it.

I neither agree nor disagree. On the fence still.

What were they supposed to do? I'd settle for showing up.

My problem isn't that they lost. It's how they lost. Completely dominated and uncompetitive.

you only get 12 games. You don't get to write one or two of them off. A good coaching staff, regardless of key injuries, will show up with a team that's ready to play.

If we get fluff back but no KT we might win two more games. If both are gone for the season we win one more.

At a minimum they should have had 22 guys ready to at least play with effort. We weren’t winning this game. But the way we played was embarrassing.
When the heart of a team ain’t playing due to injury what do you expect? That Is a serious question. It’s a devastating morale blow to the entire team. It’s easy to say you get the rest ready to play, it ain’t easy to do.

That is, unfortunately, MSU football more often than not.

Today is what happens when you don't have SEC quality offensive and defensive linemen. Lebby has had plenty of time to get those here. He cannot do so, for whatever reason. But, as I said elsewhere, no need to fire him if Keenum, Inc is still going to be making the hire.

That's their job. If it's hard to do, then you're making yet another argument that this whole staff needs to be gone.

Ok, give me some specifics on what they should have done? You have all the answers evidently. Let’s hear them.

I hope Lebby and the rest of the coaches don't have this attitude. None of these games should be a write off. None. I'll say this again, if KY can beat LSU, we should be able to at least play LSU and not lose by 4 damn touchdowns.

I asked for your plan on what we should have done. You said show up ready to play. That ain’t a plan. That’s fan talk.
Let me say this again slowly so your low IQ dubmass brain can process it. Losing isn't the issue. We are going to lose games. It's about effort, preparation, and looking like they give a shlt. Maybe a little innovation coming out of a bye week. Maybe some indication that players are improving week over week instead of regressing, which is also what has happened the last two years. Hell maybe even some indication that we are actually practicing since we came out today looking like we took two weeks off.

only a complete 17n mouth breathing retard would make excuses for that effort today by saying it's ok to mail it in and write it off because some players are injured.

I'm astounded at the idiocy.

I expect them to at least try to step up and make a few plays. The preparation & effort today were inexcusable.

Here is the real answer. I have no idea if we can do it, but it’s the only one. To avoid such a severe drop off when starters go down you have to have quality depth, and at least decent fronts on both sides of the ball. In today’s game that takes money. Some of yall toss out how much we have spent, and it sounds impressive, till you look at what the rest of the SEC spends. NIL and the portal were the worst possible things that could have ever happened for MSU football.

Brilliant!

Now remind us who is in charge of building this roster. Money is not the problem

We dropped a TD and passed on 3 FGs because we were losing big and only had a D2 level QB, and LSU fans are upset they couldn't beat us worse. Some serious *** loser mentality up in this fanbase

No one should have expected a win, but seeing a motivated team giving full effort can be expected. I think Billy Pickett may have been trying harder than anyone on the team. Poor tackling, lineman on both sides getting out worked, and even the punter didn’t look like he wanted to be there.
The coaching staff better turn the attitudes around quick or this season is over.

If the coaching staff or our fanbase is going to excuse the effort given by the team today because we had guys out due to injury then for the love of God never utter the words "next man up" ever again.

I watched a high school game between two teams last night that had no business being on the same field. It was 42-0 at halftime. The losing team played their @SS off in the second half even though the game was decided. If a high school kid can give effort in a blowout, then an NIL receiving college kid should be able to do the same regardless who else is on the field.

To me, it seems pretty obvious now. Lebby will only be successful with K1 as the QB, and that is a testament to K1, because without him Lebby ain't ****.

Exactly. Look at he results today. Everyone else we thought we had a chance at showed up for their game. Tenn tech is in question if we show up like this.

The last 2 games made some things painfully obvious. Both lines are bad. Strength and conditioning is bad. We have zero depth.

It was never in doubt how lame we would execute. The defense not even trying was it for me. Then we have 6 guys 11-14 yards away from line of scrimmage all day. What on earth? This staff is not going to do anything.….on Any level. They did a good job of sellling improvement this summer, but then reality hits. ✌🏻
