By any measure he has been a great ad. Only thing I would criticize him for is being a little out of touch with the core fan with uniforms , tailgating, alcohol

I've known since we started 1-6 or whatever that this team was terribly flawed and would face a uphill battle to get into post-season play. But, I care.
Watching today as all the teams were announced along with their tournament pairings and not seeing Kentucky mentioned (other than their absence) was still painful.
If "KENTUCKY IS COLLEGE BASKETBALL" as a certain coach famously said, then we should be in the NCAA tournament every damn year. No if's, and's or but's. NO EXCUSES. The program has the best facilities, best fans and supposedly the best coach in the country. Yet, we're sitting on our asses at tournament time. This is unacceptable.
And one word of warning...if we are in a similar situation (no tourney bid) this time next year, if KU has surpassed us in all time wins and we have to watch another flame out in the SEC...there's going to be a LOT of UK fans pi$$ed off. I mean it's going to be insanely bad.

Don’t waste your brain power....it’s is impossible to comprehend how this year happen. There is no logical reason...it simply does not compute
Didn’t watch selection Sunday and will not watch a single game. This blows, Cal blows and he better hope next year doesn’t blow too. He’s dodged a huge bullet this year in getting away with the worst season in UK BB history but don’t think he’ll be so lucky next year if he doesn’t win.
There is no defending him anymore. He’s overpaid, can’t recruit and has been out coached in many games this year. His championship record speaks for itself and 1-12 is not good enough.
