Slapping the floor and other silly actions by the other teams and these message boards with these yahoos ripping Duke only means one thing to me: Their team is in Duke's rear view mirror.
The day all this stops is the day Duke is not the cream of college basketball.
Whether they want to admit it or not, Duke is the Alabama of football and the worst part is, they know it.

When they slapped the floor I was like," you guys just made the worst mistake!"

That was until they began throwing shots from Dukes bigs then I was like," go hard, stop being soft !"

PLEASE start the game by slapping the floor!! It really is a clever and thoughtful motivator to our guys. Not that this team or K need it, but these little things really add up

Great post LT, my exact sentiments! When they slapped the floor to open the game, my first thought was "oh yeah", push the envelope! I loved it and hope to see it again. Moral of this story, never, ever, mock the Blue Devils. It might not be this game, but it will come back to bite you eventually!
Go Duke!

Yea Michigan State has seem to adapt the floor slap and what’s funny is no one cares because it isn’t Duke!

It didn't really bother me. I mean, the joke is kind of on MSU, right?

What's the old saying? Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery? With the exception of maybe a handful of programs in the country, every one would switch to be like Duke for a season if they could....including MSU.

It bothered me at first. Then I thought, it's not like Duke has a patent on it, if it helps other teams to get psyched, then imitation is the best form of flattery.
