Nah we aren' there yet. Who thinks we need a miracle to make the tournament?
@Wolves198921 is the one. Turd head.

You got me bro. Guess it comes from loving UK since 1965. Maybe just Cal’s record in the dance. Maybe I’m just a believer or a dreamer or maybe I’m just stupid. Wow hope it’s not the last one, cause you know you can’t fix stupid. Loserville fans are living proof of that fact. Being 61 and a life long fan I’ll just pray it’s because I love UK and always wear those blue glasses I’ve had all these years. Love me some UK, our teams and Da man Cal.Agree with everything you said. Not sure where you find this hope after watching this team lately.
Loving your post. You Rock my man. We can just both ignore the meltdown tomorrow if it goes the wrong way. Drink on fellow drinker and be happy.Just let them. No big deal.
Now, tonight’s game is a big deal. I feel strangely good about it.
Yes yes you is correct. What these NIT people are doing is looking at our upcoming games and automatically concluding we'll lose all of the underdog games. That's just most likely not correct. They are ignoring that outside of the Auburn game, the lines are going to be close in the majority of them.
The odds of us losing all the underdog games is slim.
Futhermore, even if we lost them all they fail to consider what other teams are doing. We could drop them all and still be comfortable in the tournament.

I think it's good to have hope. It's not as if Cal hasn't turned other teams around come March

Under the new NCAA tournament selections rules, a quadrant 1 loss gives you a better seed that a quadrant 2 win
Yeah at 17-14 UK will be in...
We aren’t winning another game. How can a team this bad win a game? Who on their schedule can they beat?Turd. Proving it multiple times daily.
If they continue to lose they can go to the NIT. I don't think there's an "NIT crowd", I just think non pumpers see a bit of danger ahead if we don't turn it around. Lose tonight, you've got auburn next. That's potentially 4 straight losses, and with a team this young that can be devastating. They might not recover.
I never thought NIT as a possibility until it was a possibility. Now it's a crowd of crying losers right?
I'm not on the NIT bandwagon. But let's say we lose the next 5 out of 6 games. And lose 2nd game in SEC tournament. Where would you put us ? I think some have seen the potential danger of just that losing next 5 out of 6 and are just voicing their opinion.
No chance Kentucky goes to the NIT unless they finish 8-10 or worse in the SEC.
9-9 in the SEC gets you in this year because this conference is absolutely loaded this year.
If tomorrow was selection Sunday, Cats would be in good shape, however 7 big games loom ahead.Because it's not a NIT resume. That's the resume of a 5 seed. To be fair, I haven't seen too many people saying we're going to the NIT except for trolls.
However, if we lose 5 or 6 more games, that resume starts to look a lot more NITish.
We win more than we lose the rest of the way, and we're fine.
Small nitpick, can we stop referring to those of us who aren't all gloom and doom all the time, don't overreact to every loss with terrible knee jerk takes, and predict defeat weeks before games are played as "pumpers."
I'm not saying you're one of these people.
I just hate being called a pumper because I don't go on suicide watch when my favorite sports team loses a game or has an off year.
Yes, this team could go to the NIT, but with the way this year's landscape looks, it seems unlikely unless the Cats lose out.
Well, I am 67, started out listening to Cawood in 63. I never had the blue tinted glasses, not sure why. Some are eternal optimist, some are pessimist, I am somewhere in between, a realist. I study things and figure out what and why it is the way it is, then form an opinion. Sometimes I am wrong. I was wrong about the 14 team, so that made me not to give up too soon. I have not given up on this team, yet. But, man, they are hard to describe. NOPE. Never a good time to struggle. No reason to struggle. That could still get us in because everyone kind of sucks this year. We're gonna see 2 or 3 seeds with eight losses this season. Luckily for UK, we picked a good year to struggle because we're certainly not alone.
Sure, if you all will stop calling anyone that is critical of this team or of Cal, LOD, cry babies, trolls, Whiners, Doom and gloomers, etc.Small nitpick, can we stop referring to those of us who aren't all gloom and doom all the time, don't overreact to every loss with terrible knee jerk takes, and predict defeat weeks before games are played as "pumpers."
This is why I come to Rafters. The thickness of irony and complete lack of self-awareness of this post is finger-licking good.I hate the term sunshine pumpers.........sure there's some overly optimistic but anyone who doesn't share the doom and gloom is labeled a "sunshine pumper"
Its silly
NOPE. Never a good time to struggle. No reason to struggle.
I am saying I expect a group of kids to come here, play hard, be good students and good citizens and give it everything they got.So, you're saying you expect us to be top 5 every single year when our history indicates that's more myth than fact dating back to the earliest days of the program?
Have to win 20 games minimum. Anything less and we are clearly on the bubble. Resume so far meets the criteria to avoid the Not In Tournament tournament-We’ll make it IMO as a 5/6 seed.
Well greater than zero because they can win the SEC tournament. However that’s pretty much never going to happen.I'd say there's no better than a 30% chance of even making the ncaa tourney now.. Actually going by history,, there's a zero chance.. Go back n look at 6-6 starts for UK in the sec.. Never once made the tournament..
