Blared Bro Country (Florida/Georgia Land Line, or whatever that **** is called) and Shania Twain all day Saturday at their tailgate - id like to give a hearty <17> you.

Even my wife, and her $300 worth of Katy Perry saved on her iTunes, was like "this **** is awful".

Maybe next week, you can find a recording of a cat getting run over by a lawn mower. That would be a less painful to listen to.

Sincerely,

The appropriate term for that excrement is Hick Hop. Shania's a little bit better, yet not much, but unless hotties are cuttin' a rug to it & flarin' short skirts, don't play it.

Hick Hop at its finest.

This is why I'm glad we tailgate in a somewhat secluded area while still close enough to the stadium. I have a very picky taste in music and piss poor music like this pisses me off. I would likely say something.

IF YOU WANT A LITTLE YING IN YOUR YING-YANG

If those are lyrics coming out of Nashville, then I'm glad I choose to live in the past, musically.

There are exceptions, thank God, like Jamey Johnson, Sturgil Simpson, etc. Hatfield knows more, that I've unfortunately not had the time to look into yet.

Dying to know what your picky music taste entails. Just give me a couple of specific examples. Please.

Easy, Hoss. No need to say anything if it's not offensive language-lyric wise, or if it's not too damn loud. Look, I hate that **** too. But, to each his own. Live & let live. Know when to pick your battles.

Now, if by "say something" you mean walk over, make friends for a minute, talk State, grilling, offer food/beverage, & suggest "Hey, have y'all heard of this Bocephus fella?", then by all means do so.

XM 60. That's the only station that plays any new country worth a damn.

Check out Dale Watson as well, he's been around awhile and that's the only station that will play his stuff.

Just curious why you didn't walk up to their tailgate and give them a hearty, 17 you, in person instead of writing it on a message board after the damage was done?

Agree with this. It's always funny to me that people always act as the standard on saying that music and artist today are bad. Just because "you" don't like it don't mean that other people shouldn't. I for one can't stand country music but I am not going to go as far as calling someone out on a message board that chances are will never see it.

I'd venture to guess that Bro-Country started with the crap that Toby Keith and Trace Adkins put out between 2000-2010. Need I remind anyone of "Swang Battah Battah, Swang!"

And by today's standards, Garth Brooks is traditional country. Even back in his heyday, Garth had songs that were very traditional sounding. Nothing like today's cRap or Hick Hop.

You'd be looking for Kang's Landing or Davis Wade Country Club, both located in the junction.

Also, there is one located between the junction and amphitheater right across from barnes and noble in the large white university tents.

My Sturgill station played "Crushin' It" by Brad Paisely and I almost cried

I believe Cowboy Troy first called it hick hop about a decade ago when he was relevant, I like Bro Country simply because it sounds douchier.

That is without a doubt the absolute worst song I've ever heard. Not to mention the fact, Brad Paisley doesn't even drink yet all of his songs are about getting drunk. And that song drunk on an airplane runs a close second to crushin it as worst song ever
