This is exactly my stance. My future SIL just graduated with honors in Electrical Engineering. He is pretty progressive and green leaning...and he knows (discussed often in his classes) that it will take 40 years to get our power grid built up enough to totally turn off fossil fuels....and even then, it will have issues.

The company he works for makes the components for our grid...so he likes what is happening...he just knows that it will take years to get there...and he knows they are lying to us about all of it.

There was a lot of time and money wasted on phony research. I'm all for progressing in this area but we need to absolutely get every last ounce out of the resources we have before forsaking them.

Just look at California if you want to see what Green Energy and Renewables look like. Do not have the battery capacity to maintain the energy that the windmills and solar capture. That is one of the sunniest and windy states in the US too. It's not feasible! Not to mention all the non Leather, Wool, Cotton, & Wood products that are made from Nat Gas and Oil by products! We have the capacity to be the Energy King for a while but not if EO O'Biden keeps using his pen. What a clown ***!

That's the big one...FYI, WVU received a grant last year to try and tackle that...We are working on using Hydrogen Peroxide ( you make Hydrogen Peroxide using electric) and store it...you can then burn it in a converted power plant later on...I don't think it's feasible...but this kind of shows how big of an issue this is if they are spending millions on ideas like this we are not close to having the battery technology to handle the vacillating nature of green energy.

I have been saying that since the first EV rolled off of the assembly line...the end of life for those are coming up in the next couple of years.
