I actually would have been more shocked if the game was close. We knew Ohio State has an abundance of athleticism, speed, and playmakers. We knew there would be turnovers on our part.

This game is not the most important game. I’d say Wisconsin and Iowa are more important and must wins.

I didn’t think OSU was this stacked. We need to get out of tonight’s game injury free and focus on the winnable games.

We’re not close to ready for big boy football.

There is nothing I’ve seen that even gives me the slightest shred of hope that we can hang with Wisconsin or Iowa.

They are both fundamentally sound teams that don’t make mistakes.

OSU is on another plane athletically. I'm not predicting Nebraska to beat Iowa or Wisky per se, but...OSU is stacked on both sides with 1st/2nd rounders.

Wisconsin and Iowa don’t have quite the athletes that Ohio State does and certainly not as many.

Yes the turnovers kill the Huskers. It will kill any team really. If (and I know that is a big if) the Huskers protect the ball, they can hang with Iowa and Wisconsin.

I’m feeling good about the Hawks chances in Lincoln but they are not OSU.

OSU is one of the top 3-4 teams in the country. Glad we don’t have to play them unless it’s in the B1G championship game.

It would be one thing if OSU came in here and beat Nebraska by 2 or 3 touchdowns, showing that they were a more complete football team.

It is quite another to get embarrassed at home and look like you don’t even belong in the same level of football as OSU.

This should not still be happening. It is reasonable to be concerned.

What makes you think will beat Wiscy and Iowa in “must wins?” They are very good, sound football teams and have had Nebraska’s number for a while. Nebraska barely beat Illinois last week.

Congrats on beating the Iowa School for the Deaf and Blind today! I feel good about The Huskers’ chances in Lincoln. We’ll just see how it goes that day. Until then, good luck with the rest of your season!

First off I never said Nebraska would win the Wisconsin and Iowa games. However, Wisconsin and Iowa are must wins because they are in our division.

I wouldn’t say their players are on another level better than Nebraska (like Ohio State). If Nebraska doesn’t give the ball away against Wisconsin and Iowa then they’ll be in those games.

Iowa will more than likely beat us like a drum.

Dude. Let’s see OSU play a team with a pulse before we go anointing them. Wisky looked human against Northwestern today. PSU looked human against Pitt.

Buckeyes have as much talent of any team in the nation including Bama. Do you even watch the games! Buckeye fans aren’t worried about you anointing us

Yeah, their depth is unreal. If you watched their OL and DL, they were rotating players throughout the game - constantly bringing in fresh players. They rotated 8 to 9 on the OL and more than that on the DL. That's awfully hard to compete with. Many on their boards are saying this is the best and deepest OL in 15 years. We're not talking about chopped liver either - they're all ex top 150 type HS All-Americans.

I don't understand? I thought Mr. M was suppose to be in the running for the Heishman and Mr. F was suppose to be one of the top 5 head coaches in America. Wasn't this team suppose to win the B1G West and go to Indy.
Maybe I can buy some those extra B1G championship tickets that you guys won't be using.Lurk
At least you have an Iowa boy as head coach for basketball who will bring you some joy...

Problem is that stuff isn't hard. You just need a good coach. Yet here we are 1.5 years into it.

Curious, with what you’ve seen from Nebraska this year, why you think “this should not still be happening”? We are what we are, and at this point its not a team that can compete at the highest level.

I mean there should not be a scenario where Nebraska falls behind to ANYONE 48-0 at home. Or on the road. EVER.
