I'd say 2 maybe 3 too, they should have already gotten beat by Alabama and Vandy and their upcoming games are tougher than those were. Tennessee is good but they have had some good luck too, we will see.

They probably drop @LSU and hopefully we get them again.

I wouldnt hold my breath on the LSU game. They are a solid team but not as good as we made them look. Our guys didn’t show up that game plain and simple. There’s not one guy on our team you can point to and say they had a good game. Probably the worst we’ve played since the opener.

I do think it’s likely they drop one more and a good chance they lose 2. I think MSU is better than people realize. They had a pretty bad game against us in Rupp and they’ll be hungry for another marquee win.

Better pray Florida somehow sweeps then. LSU schedule is garbage.

I think it’s in our best interest for LSU to win the league and Kentucky/Tennessee to finish 2nd and 3rd. That way we potentially get a 3rd game against Tennessee on Saturday instead of Sunday giving the committee enough time to weigh it into the selection process.

This makes no sense. If UT doesn't win the league, beating them in the tourney isn't going to boost the Cats that much.

If they drop only 2 more game to us and LSU, and LSU wins out Tennessee is at worst a top 10 team. You don’t think getting a 3rd game against a top 10 team would make a difference?

The committee totally ignores the SEC tournament.

I think they just ignore the finals. The SEC refuses to move the tournament up a day because they like being the only game on tv that Sunday. And since we’re typically the only team with a punchers chance in March they don’t care. Its not worth losing that ratings fest to them to help one teams chances in a 1 and done tourney I guess. I legit hate the SEC.

Honestly the way it is playing out
Hoping for two losses at least. I think LSU gets them, but I'm hoping we get them in Knoxville.

I do think Auburn can beat them.

Now we need LSU to lose a couple.
Auburn will beat them the last game of the year!

I hope so. I just don't have any faith in Auburn. I think they're a fraud. They play hard, but they have very little on the inside.

That whole "live by the three, die by the three" style is usually not going to get you a win over good teams. But Auburn might be really desperate for a win, heck, they have 5 league losses already.

Pearls teams are always really indisciplined. He’s a great motivator and they always play as hard anyone but he’s way to liberal with that shooting green light. The Wiley kid seems to have cost himself some money by sticking around. He was a lottery pick at one point I thought.

I think Wiley just came back, they lost several games with him out. That will help the inside.

I don’t like their chances at LSU or at Auburn.

At Ole Miss will be tough also.

I think they beat us in Knoxville, but their remaining schedule. Is brutal. (Except Vandy at home)

They lose a 2-3 more. LSU, AU and us again in a close one. We’re a bad match up for them this year, bigger inside and more athletic on the perimeter. GBB!

Exactly. It had nothing at all to do with us dominating them from start to finish.

When did I say anything about UK not dominating?

I’m just saying that getting beat by a top 5 team on their court should not suggest they are in for some sort of meltdown and are going to lose 3 more games. That’s just stupid talk.

So you think it's far fetched that UT could lose @LSU, @Aiburn and at home to UK? I think that could actually happen.

They also have to play @Ole Miss.

Remember, they needed a ref bailout at Vanderbilt.

No, but road games are hard and the teams I listed are very good and they will be jacked up for UT to come into their gym.

I never said they were overrated, but sometimes it doesn't matter how good you are, when you go from the hunter to the hunted, it's a different ballgame.

So who wins the tie-breaker? I would try to figure it out but was told there'd be no math.

I've always believed that, for the most part, none of the tournament play affects seeding much at all. How often do you see a 1 seed lose in the conference tournament? Seems common to me.

Have you watched TENN. I wouldn’t call heir game bully ball at all. Grant and especially admiral love shooting jumpers over going to the rack. Hence why they don’t get to the line at a elite level

We were the first team all year not afraid to hit them in the mouth. They have played bully ball all year and got the calls. Our veterans Washington and Travis are tough

Do we pull for Tennessee when they play LSU? I suppose so, since Tennessee has at least a couple legit chances to lose and LSU doesn’t........
I say no. I don't care if LSU wins the regular season SEC. I think its to UK's advantage for Tennessee to keep on losing so we can get that #1 seed in the big tourney. I'd think LSU needs to beat Tennessee and they need to lose a couple more for us to get it.

Oooo This is a tough one. I think we have to continue to shoot for a 1-seed.. so I'll be rooting for LSU.

Winning @Tenn might honestly not be enough if that's Tennessee's ONLY other loss. We need them to lose twice (or more).
