Going to Wisconsin. Great engineering school and great reputation for developing linebackers. He loves the coaches.

Cool. Good luck to him. We already had a thread on him. Why you gotta clutter up the board and take up valuable space that could be used for China virus discussions?

If Alabama farts in your general direction, that's going up on the board

Heavy Wisconsin lean. We’re in a battle for 2nd with Iowa State. I’d say that the only chance we have is if the staff at Wisconsin leaves after the season.

He may be a Wiscy lean but I won't put anything past this staff if they did end up landing him. They kind of pulled a rabbit out of the hat last year with K. Green.

not when northwestern is also in there. perhaps he's thinking of life beyond football?

smart, either way. those schools are exorbitantly expensive and a free ride for someone who qualifies academically would be tough to ignore.

I looked at it because it’s along way from home didn’t compare it to education but distance from home.

Stanford lands something crazy like 45% or more of kids they offer. I'd think NW and Cal would be similar just due to their academic prowess & doors those schools open for grads.

that said, I'd be surprised if he goes to either.

Does show the kid appears to be serious about his degree
Of course, not choosing iowa in his top six proves that

The noise out of the center of the state was he kind of big dealed Iowa. Meaning he liked to tell people he was going off to bigger and better things than Iowa had to offer. Most people thought he would jump on Stanford but I don't think he has a commitable offer. My personal opinion is he was going to go to whatever school he thought was the biggest deal to tell people about but with Covid-19 he might be thinking about staying closer to home now. Who knows.

A fanbases natural reaction is to find fault with a homegrown who rejects their team.
I don't find fault with him for doing that at all. Many people make the decision to move away when going to college (I did). People have all kinds of motivators. He seems like a pretty good guy with a ton of talent and I think he will be successful where ever he goes, I just REALLY hope that isn't wiscy.

He big dealed iowa. That sounds like sour grapes or is true.
He liked telling people he was off to bigger, better things.
Iowa has always had the little guy syndrome, so, a natural position to assume from such a fanbase

If that made sense in your head, go with it.
You seem to be behaving yourself all the while still not providing anything of substance.

I'm completely confident that there are at least 3-5 threads about Nebraska football on the Iowa board first page that you could post in.

Congratulations on Iowa football 2015-2019, it’s truly been a golden age for Iowa, albeit without any championships. I’m satisfied with Nebraska’s dominance of Iowa from the beginning of college football through 2014. :)

Thats what I got from your post, yes.
Alot if assuming there, would you agree?
Alot of rumor as well?
All formed in my plausible framing of it?
I'm not 100% sure what it is exactly your trying for but if its discovering some form of animosity towards TJ it simply doesn't exist. The guy has grown up in the shadow of Kinnick, he and his radio host father are very well known and vocal in the football community. I wish the guy the best, I think he will be a good player.

Me too, but it comes off as crass.
Here, we hate seeing guys leave of course, and true, some of us become resentful, I'm just pointing that out.
Because here, he can actually be understood to have other goals, like a Stanford, or another team like a Notre Dame.
Just pointing a few things out.

To that point, my understanding is TJ is a very bright young man and I'm sure degrees offered will have an impact.

This is maybe a Harrison Phillips situation. Go play in a power conference at a school with stellar academics and even be good enough to punch your ticket to the league.
