I offer these as a HROT Newcomer myself. I suspect members of the indigenous species may have their own suggestions.

1. Stop re-litigating why certain people from the old board suck. It wasn't interesting back there and it's even less interesting here.

2. Stop giving "dumb" comments here both barrels. The offenders back on the other board may have earned it, but the people here haven't (yet).

Just my 2 cents, in the hope for more civility.

Doesn't mean you shouldn't smack down lies, fascism and racism wherever you spot those offenses. But why not start off gently?
