In the past, I would expect MSU to offer a scholarship to a kid as a favor to someone. Whereas, most of the rest of the SEC would invite the same such kid to WALK ON as a favor. We are labeled doormats because the old guard was willing to accept that role with what seemed like pleasure. That is why coaches come in here and halfass and pick up a check until their next "good gig". That is why croom sat back hoping recruits would come to him for the first three years, because the old guard told him it would be o.k., not much is expected of him. Thanks LT for all those years of misery. This deal with Hollingsworth is much more than yanking a scholarship offer. It is someone looking me in the face and telling me that we are going to at least TRY. Yeah, there is change taking place. I just wonder what the ninja has planned when those P.I.'s are sent to follow Mullen around. I am actually sprouting a little wool. I don't expect much next season, but will buy season tickets. I said that I was done until I saw the leadership at MSU at least try to compete and now I am done being done. I am seeing people try and I love it. It started with Foglesong and now the ninja. Yeah, this is good stuff happening these days!!
