The Easton Black Magic. Top of the line bat in 88. Today would sell at Wal Mart for $5.99 brand new. I bought one for $100 in '87. I thought on the way home how stupid I was to spend that much on a bat. Bats are now $300-$400.

...MSU baseball has endured years of an embarrassing era. (It's called the "Ron Polk" era...or the "nutjob era").

Suddenly MSU baseball is entering an era of (long lost) pride.

Cohen is going to present MSU their first NC in any sport.

Mark it down, put it in your archives (I assume I am not the only MSU poster who keeps an archive).

Not that I could ever swing a bat. But, I have always used that bat as a reference of... how do I step around it... a Big Unit. (Kept it sports...)
