Bud's cool. I can't decide if I'm excited for the game or dreading it. It just feels like too much to hope for that we're suddenly going to be a competent, well-coached team... I'm like that kid on the playground that's been kicked in the balls one-too-many times. I have trust issues.

For self-sanity reasons, I'm trying to refuse to let myself get very excited until/if we get through the OU game 4-0. Losing any of the first 3 games will be extremely disappointing and likely fatal for Frost's tenure as coach, but winning them far from assures a successful season.

Yesterday, I felt good. Today, I read a little about NW. Good OL, good RB - they'll run it down our throats. Good DE - CT will get sacked and pressured all game. Worried about a team we beat by 7 TDs last year. bleh.
