Who do you recommend?
Ready to gamble on another up and comer like Gillispie? Or you think Donovan is coming after he's said no two straight times? I never understand these rants. Cal's not going anywhere.

I agree.

1. Brad Stevens
2. Nate Oates
3. Shaka Smart
4. Billy Donovan
5. Jay Wright
6. Scott Drew
LOL..... youre as bad as Louisville fans.

Shaka and Drew are the only ones on the list that'll come to UK, and those are both steps down.

Hilarious that people keep brining up Billy Donovan, him openly saying NO two straight times wasnt enough? Im sure UK fans bashing Cal after 4 final fours in 10 years has coaches dying to take this job if open.

9 million a year and all he offers is I should have done better. We were up 8 I should have been able to coach them to a win.

UK deserves better.
Not saying I disagree. But how many threads is needed on this? Have you not looked at the 999 other ones?

Lord please explain to me how Shaka Smart, who failed miserably at Texas, is a better hire than Donovan, Wright, or Drew? I will send you $100 via Venmo or whatever if you can rationalize this thought process. Thanks.

Thats the definition of spoiled. A week ago you were content, but one embarrassing game and its time for another coach. Cal would go to Maryland and make you guys look like idiots.
I will help him pack and take my chances.

Not a smart move. I understand your aggravation but getting a great coach to leave his nest isn't easy. And gambling with a new up and comer usually takes multiple firings and hirings to get one. Look at Indiana, Michigan, UConn, Florida, etc.

This is that old troll I remember posting here years ago.

He's a fan of that 13 - 19 team that pussed out from playing us, and is

getting ready to get a 2 year postseason ban. At least qualify for the NIT

before you come over here to troll.

I think we should just shut the program down when Cal leaves. I mean unless a coach at some no name university has performed above UKs historical standards including at least 1 title with lesser resources then clearly they aren’t good enough to coach here. I mean both Pitino and Calipari met that criteria right?

UK makes coaches. Not the other way around. Cal has racked up a LOT of wins and brought in a long list of great players for us to be amazed by. Oscar, being one of the best Ive seen. That being said, If you don't think another coach can be successful at UK you're a different breed of fan I'm used to seeing.
